WHO WE ARE
We started in 2014 with a simple goal, to create high quality American made leather goods with simple designs and practical functionality.  When Nathan Martin, the founder, had a cheap bag break on him. He set out to find the perfect replacement. When Nathan couldn't find what he was looking for, he then decided to make his own. That was how Go Forth Goods was born. 

At Go Forth Goods we're doing our part to bring back the old fashioned way of American made goods. Products like our grandparents used. Products that you love to use, and can pass down to the next generation.  

Our designs are forged from simplicity and functionality with elements of timeless classics from the 19th century.  These designs have stood the test of time and only get better with age.  When designing a product we also think about how it will be used and how it will wear after 10...15...20 years of use. Choosing to use solid brass and copper rivets on our bags, as well as hand stitching with waxed thread insures that our products will be around for years to come.

Go Forth Goods ® makes functional, high-quality leather goods in the USA. We design goods both for outdoor adventures and taking to work, guaranteed by a lifetime warranty. We also believe that being good means focusing on the details. That’s why we honor others who do good by giving back 10% in support of nonprofits we believe in.

We started in 2014 when our founder, Nathan Martin, had a cheap bag break on him right before a family trip. When he set out to find the perfect replacement, he couldn’t find anything American-made that fit his criteria for durability. When he couldn’t find what he wanted, he decided to make his own.

At Go Forth Goods ® we're doing our part to bring back the tradition of durable and classic American-made goods. We make leather bags and wallets like the ones our grandparents used--lovingly crafted pieces that you love to use and can pass on to the next generation. For this reason, our designs are crafted for simplicity and functionality, with elements inspired by leather goods from the 19th century.

When designing a product we also think about how it will be used and how it will wear after ten, fifteen, and twenty years of use. By using only the best full-grain American-sourced cow leather, hand-peened solid brass and copper rivets, as well as hand-stitching with waxed thread, we ensure our goods will last for years to come.
 
All of our products are handmade in small batches in our workshop in Marietta, Georgia where you can walk in, say hey, and buy our goods at the same time. We’ll even give you a tour of the shop and show you where everything is made.


Our goal with Go Forth Goods ® is to inspire others to do good--to be faithful down to the last stitch, to give back, and make a difference.
