Description

The Cooper Satchel Leather Briefcase is the last briefcase you will ever need. It's rugged construction, along with it's clean, simple design is made like bags used to be made a 100 years ago. Ones that were cherished and passed down to the next generation. Every aspect of this bag is handmade and is untouched by any machines. We start with only the best full grain 10 oz leather, same as we use for all of our straps. We then hand cut all the pieces, punch every hole for stitching and then hand stitch every seam with a durable 4 cord waxed thread. Over 10 hours of love goes into each one. The bag is then secured with two 1" wide, 10 oz straps with solid brass buckles. Also includes an adjustable, removable shoulder strap with Pad.

Great American Bag

I wanted a bag.
Had to be full grain leather
from American Cows
made by American hands.

This narrowed it down to only a few makers and Go Forth had the designs I liked the most.

The Cooper is a special bag. Uses Thick Latigo leather. Beautifully executed.

You should note that because of the thick leather that this bag is heavy. I have the Stephen bag with thinner leather and it’s much lighter. I gave the Stephen to one of my sons. I kept the Cooper for myself (hint).

I have it in mocha. Looks better in person than in pictures.

Fits my laptop with plenty of room for other stuff.

I typically don’t buckle the straps to allow for easy access when walking or in general.

Every day with normal wear and tear I put small marks into the leather which will give it a nice patina down the road. I look forward to a few decades of breaking it in so I can gift it to a son or grandson ( or great grandson)

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS COOPER SATCHEL!!!

First off let me say what an amazingly awesome job GFG and Nathan the owner do at giving a true "wow!" experience in their customer service!! Second to none! Now on to the craftsmanship in this Cooper Satchel: Superb!!! Wonderful leather. Thick 10-11 oz. Latigo feeling leather that just looks so gorgeous. The attention to detail, the extra reinforced stitching, the leather washers next to the hand peened rivets... I could go on and on. My 14 in MacBook Pro fits perfectly in the rear interior pocket made for it. Crafted by Adam, who clearly has some of the most mad skills as a leather artisan, this bag is going to last for ages to come. They even kindly agreed to do some minor custom requests for me. I hope they feel great about their company and what they do: the joy and satisfaction and tremendous value all add up to one awesome company mission and one very happy customer. Do Good they indeed do. I am grateful and happy. So great to see a company that sells terrific products and does it with such style and grace.
